Wastelink Clients & Projects

Wastelink specialise in software-as-a-service for the water and wastewater sectors, with standardised and custom software solutions that use mobile platforms (phones, tablets) to collect data and web applications to provide the office interface and management functions.

Even before these technologies we available, we had many systems running in this area.

Current clients/projects in Australia

We are currently providing services to a number of utilities in New South Wales.

This includes

  • Trade Waste database, for the management of the Trade Waste process,

  • Trade Waste Inspections module

  • Trade Waste tracking of tankered wastes.

Some of these utilities also use the Backflow Prevention system

Current clients/projects in Vietnam

In early 2019 we commenced a pilot project for collecting data from remote water kiosks provided by AWA (Australian Water Association)  in concert with Austrade.

A private WWTP (wastewater treatment plant) in Ho Chi Minh City has had daily inspections done using Wastelink Inspections since mid 2018.

Non-water: a bus station in Ho Chi Minh City uses Wastelink Inspections to monitor and report on the standard of cleaning of areas throughout the bus station.

Sydney Water Corporation is the water and wastewater utility that covers the Greater Sydney area in New South Wales. In 1991, We began working with them on systems for compliance and performance monitoring in the area of trade waste.

All grease trap servicing was monitored - 13,000 sources, about 80,000 services per annum, with 27 transport companies involved.

In 2007 they migrated to our latest systems which used mobile devices to collect data from the service providers as they did their work, collecting and transporting waste to processing depots, and sending that back to Sydney Water.

Our systems were used by Sydney Water themselves and 27 transport companies, This reduced the amount of queries about customers and job to be done, and helped sustain the level of compliance.

Gold Coast Water is the water and wastewater utility that covers the Gold Coast region south of Brisbane in Queensland. Wastelink began working with them in 2005 on systems for compliance and performance monitoring in the area of trade waste.

All grease trap servicing was monitored - 4,000 sources, about 25,000 services per annum, with a number of transport companies involved.

In 2007 they migrated to our latest systems which used mobile devices to collect data from the service providers as they did their work, collecting and transporting waste to processing depots, and sending that back to Gold Coast Water.
